Thanks for comments! I finally ordered all 3 HP/UK paperbacks from Internet Bookshop [glad I held off the US editions and Boxed set in Border's bookstore]& also
(dumb) the Sorcerers' stone - that's OK I can compare them; also with 7 children under 14 it wont go to waste (I have given up trying to keep track of my precious 50 y.o. AR Cape
hardbacks; the idea of buying the complete paperback suite didnt work out either).Actually the Internet BS (Smiths) vs Amazon mostly works the other way--
IBS has a very nice e-mailed Poop sheet which gives heads up on good stuff,
and in most cases the Amazon equiv. [if it exists]is around 2/3 price inc P & P.
(Example: the Star Wars Encyclopaedia). This is partly because of IBS swingeing 30%
P & P to the US (based on the Retail price, before discount !!!)..
But then I love being a s**** a**[***]
