Weren't the Altounyans a 'mixed race' family of sorts? Not sure about the beards though!I
When I was there in the theatre, I soon found myself believing in the characters and the story, just as I would have if I had been listening to a storyteller. The bearded Roger was especially apt at being a grown man portraying a small boy. This made it both funny and, at times, poignant.
