Quite right, Dan. Seeing the locations is wonderful, even if one *has* been there. One can also turn the sound down to avoid the inappropriate parts like the doctor/golf course joke at the beginning of Coot Club, or zip through the wrong bits like Robert Hardy as Captain Flint, living on a wooden motor cruiser instead of the houseboat.
And critical though we may be with some of the details and characterizations, in the 1974 film, Roger seems perfect, and Suzanna Hamilton brings a delightful depth to Susan, especially in the "And she's going swimming" scene.
