Yes, the direction of the locomotive and the layout of Oxenholme/Strickland Junction were discussed in detail on this board some years ago. I believe that AR's drawing (PP, Ch 1, illustration "LETTING FLY") is reversed, but not everyone agreed with that (you could disagree then!). I seem to recall that either I or someone posted up the drawing reversed, ie correctly corresponding to the geography, but it did not look right somehow. Maybe AR felt that too.
Lanehead Public Appeal - great idea, but alas there won't be time. The owners want a quick sale. We need a major donation - QUICKLY. Any AR-loving billionaires out there?
