I agree with Roger that the book is not really worth reading. If you have not read it, the chunk published in “Before a Peak in Darien” gives a good idea of the standard.
Ransome was a very different writer before he went to Russia. It was only the discipline of having to send his newspaper reports by telegraph, which converted him to the type of writer who made every word count.
Anyway the book is freely available as a “print on demand” from the US. A search on Abebooks shows the dual title of The Lady Who Came to Stay & The Elixir of Life (Lovecraft's Library) by R. E. Spencer & Arthur Ransome. Cheapest price £5.66 + £4.07 postage.
Although Amazon Books is really a TARS only item, as their books are only available in the first instance to TARS members, it must be very difficult to find continuing titles that have a wide interest to members. But the Elixir of Life is definitely not one of them.
