I toured the Cutty Sark in June, 1958 or February 1959. I remember an incredible collection of wooden figure heads that were housed in the hold of the Cutty Sark. I took a couple or rolls of film of them and the ship, but sadly, lost them somewhere in London.
It is sad to hear that they Disneyfied such a grand ship. Couldn't they have built another museum next to it and restored it as it actually originally was built (or as close as they could)?
That was one of the highlights of both trips to London.
