Kit (Nancy) had a "flat London accent" I am told, and all her lines in the film were overdubbed by the brother of one of the child actors. Yes, a boy! I'll have to ask Sophie (Titty) to remind me of the full story.
Note that AR himself would have said "on the port teck". I must put that audio clip up for download somewhere...
