More seriously, how about the Wendy house, swing set etc surrounded by the stockade from Treasure Island? This would be a circular fence maybe 20 feet in diameter with suitable gates and gun-ports cut in it. Given money and a tolerance for falling children, it could be fitted with an annular platform about five feet up for the defenders to stand on. The platform's supports could be extended sideways to give a partially enclosed space to run around. I see a bridge from the platform to the top of the slide but that could be added later. A treasure-chest or two would help but go easy on the rum.
