Adam - you used a word I did not understand:

"The Mesopotamians had their eponymous two rivers"

but then, that just goes to show the educational value in perusing the details of All Things Ransome. There was that time I sat down to list the concepts that I learned from reading Ransome's twelve delightful experiences, but the fascinating aspect of this is how that list keeps growing as I become more aware of those little things that he started for me in my mind, things which I feel I now have become so enriched including those additions provided by the respondants on this forum, for where else could I have come to understand what it meant to be "Cock o' t' midden." That one had me in the dark until some TarBoard offering explained what the "midden" was.

So now I have been given "eponymous" as a new addition to my experiences, for which I am grateful to have been so urged to go to the dictionary and make this new discovery. The result is now a greater appreciation of the Pythagorean Theorem, as I believe this new word seems to apply to that as an example.

Is is for such as this that the TarBoard has its continuous enhancement of its value.

I thank you one and all for the value you have given me, with special thanks to Ransome for getting us all started in this effort. Truly, TarBoard is "a splendid place to be."
