Having said that, Beckfoot gets revealed quite slowly. We get our first glimpse inside in WH. It is only really in PP and PM that we really come to know the house. The sirrounding countryside is much more vividly depicted. The surrounding countryside is not Lanehead. The house as described in SA and even SD is one that needn't have been intimately known to AR. It's quite a mysterious big house.
