On the other hand it does seem to explain the sudden change when the Amazons are allowed to go camping on Wild Cat after being cooped up
with lunches etc. Captain Flint writing his book Mixed moss might explain him not being a cooperative uncle but not why the Amazons seem
so tied to home for most of the book.
