I do not know that writings would reflect anything important. Remember that we only know about the diamonds beacuse the Soviet Union fell and their records, previously top secret, are now open to review. I believe we should also keep in mind the mind set of those who are presenting AR to us. Read "S From M" and you will find comments stating to the effect "We will not include all the letters to Ivy because they only reflect discord etc. etc. " This may be perceived as censorship and wishing to portray a "hero" in full formal dress.
