I have only come across Force once: about thirty years ago staying at
the home of a college friend.
I remember that the box had a caricature of a countryman in 19th century
clothing springing into the air with a slogan along the lines of
“Over the stile jumps Sunny Jim. Force is the power that raises him”.
My friend’s family lived in Cheshire -not so far from the Lake District-
so I wonder if Force was regional product: I don’t recall seeing it in
Wimbledon where I grew up.
