When I was a boy in the '50s, I remember looking through a whole lot
of "Meccano Magazines" that belonged to my cousin - they were from the
late '20s and the '30s. Almost every one had a "Force" fullpage advertisement.
When AR was writing, "Force" must have been THE breakfast cereal. But I'm
not sure it survived the War and Kelloggs filled the vacuum thereafter. I
certainly don't remember it being available during my youth.
