JK Rowlings does seem to be able to get away with practically anything doesn't she? I mean her books are a good enough read and all that, but nothing THAT astounding (compare and contrast with the much tighter writing of AR, or even more to a JK comtemporary like Philip Pullman).

Am I alone in thinking that in her last one she could have done with the deft hand of an editor to reign things in a bit - the story didn't really need to be three times the length of the first book.

How long will Book 5 be?
