I’ve already praised Mixed Moss for its Trustees’ Meeting report, and, leaving aside that index thing at the end (and also C Hardyment’s thoughtless paragraph), I reckon the rest of the mag is pretty good too. I say this because earlier this year I criticised the Summer 2000 MM in a message ‘on another website’. New editor Joy Wotton is to be congratulated on a distinct improvement, but she is right when she says in her editorial that AR material is getting a bit thin. After 10 years of TARS how much more is there to say? I suspect that there is a great deal, but we won’t know until we try. It strikes me that quite a lot of stuff that appears on Tarboard could be worked up into a good article, so what about it? And yes, that includes Ed Kiser’s ‘oddity’ investigations - let the rest of TARS see these gems.
