I have a 1943 (first edition) of PM and have recently noticed that there is a picture of Dorothea christening "Scarab" which oddly appears on the dust jacket but not inside the book itself, in the chapter concerned - ie Ch XV, "Launching the 'Scarab'". Curious.
The sketch has Nancy, Peggy, Dick and the old boatbuilder watching from the jetty.
Could someone please tell me if this picture appears in the later versions of the book. (And if someone can also tell me how to, I could insert the picture in question with this message).
While I'm about it, is anyone able to provide me with the e-mail address of John Sanders, husband of Brigit? I used to have it when I corresponded with her but recent PC problems mean I've lost it.
