My daughter Bethany, never ceases to surprise us with her creative ideas. (With some help!) she has started a web site about all the things she has explored since starting a new 'Swallows and Amazons' group in our village. She has put together a vision for a way that this could be expanded to encourage children anywhere to take an actove interest in the care and understanding of their locality.
Please take a look, and let us know what you think. The link to 'Bethany's Book of Best Practice' is very important. It is very much a framework whcih is still waiting for the clothes to be hung on it. As I write, she is busy preparing some drawings to add to the site. As you will see it very much builds upon things we already do. The hope is that this may inspire others.
