There is another mention of Bob Blackett, in PP.
When the prospectors are visiting Slater Bob, he mentions
prospecting in South Africa (for silver, if memory serves -
my books also languish, prepatory to moving to Sudbury) -
with "your father" referring to Capt Nancy.
I think it is interesting that both Bob and Jim were
prospector/miners...
By the bye, Robert, thank you for advising me about the
'borree in Totonto. I shall certainly attempt to get my
19-foot wood Lightning dinghy, "Halcyon", down to it.
