On my first run through (aged c12 by the time I made it to the end) Great Northern was my favourite! Swallowdale was no. 2, with WH close on its heels.
In our current re-reading we haven't got that far yet by we both agree that the two "Peter Duck stories" (PD and ML) are rooted at the bottom of the list.
WDMTGTS has shot up my personal list though, while SW has maybe slipped a bit. Picts & M next (when we can get a copy) - not a favourite last time through... will my views change?
