Love all the Lake books - especially Winter Holiday(Peggy blossoms) and Picts & Martyrs. I Didn't Mean To Go To Sea alternately irritates me and entertains me as does Secret Water. Never got into the Coots books and Great Northern left me dead. Missee Lee has ethnic interest and I never read Peter Duck. I did read the beginning of AR's unfinished book - found it fascinating and can clearly see why it never went anywhere.
