An interesting analysis. Obviouly there are repeats as AR has the S & As use this in their 'call sign' (I'm not sure what elese you would call it), but he has the Coots also use a similar form before they have met the Ds who have had contact with the S & As.

AR drew upon his childhood we know (the knickerbockerbreaker for example) I can remember in my own childhood (about eight or so) thinking that I would want that moment to last for ever. Just a thought, but perhaps there was something similar going on here?

Another thought - which messes up my own theory - didn't AR have an unhappy childhood? But then isn't the SA series an attempt to create the chilhood he never had?

Ah well, perhaps Professor Brogan is the man to answer the question!
