I'm glad to say I've been able to obtain a copy of Taqui Altounyan's book from an NZ library, thankyou to the generous kiwi who put me onto this. Fascinating book and the people within it.
A note for Alan Hakim: what do you think Ernest Altounyan, known as Little Doctor in Aleppo and who was renown for never turning a patient away day or night, would think of the TARS restricting the buying of his daughter's reprinted book only to members? Not much in the spirit of either himself or AR's Swallows & Amazons I should think.
