I know this is not truly an AR question in the pure sense but does any one have a pattern for the sort of awning Tom used on titmouse? We just purchased a 4.2 m (14'almost) enterprise international and we would like to have a good cover for when she is moored with mast and boom "up".
This year I moved back to British Columbia's Okanagan Valley with its 90 mile long and 1 mile wide lake and I am getting ready to teach my nieces age 10 and 12 to sail. They have fallen in love with sailing from watching the S&A movie and are eagerly waiting for S&A forever! I hope they will start to read the books soon.
on another note I always thought that P&M was the funniest book but that ML had the funniest scenes. Rogers completion of the latin phrase, Capt. Flints various faux paux's and more had me in stitches even the first time I read them at around age 10.
More they inspired me (as well as a few friends) to learn to sail and to keep fishing and enjoying watersports of the unorganized kind.
This year I finally also actually joined a sailing only club. Ah well I ramble but we teach sailing to one and all. I will be adding AR to the club library in paperback of course.
