The boatyard that supplied (I believe) the yacht for the BBC dramatisation of Coot Club is situated up the River Thurne at Womack Water.

Most of the "traditional Broads hire yachts" are of a type, gaff rigged, small jib, open rear cockpit and lowerable cabin roof.

One of the white windmills (actually Windpumps) is probably Thurne Mill at the mouth of Thurne Dyke.
