Living on this side of the world I am always interested to receive from relations in London a calendar featuring English scenes.

The 2001 version in entitled "Hopeful Thoughts" and includes a verse selected by the Dean of Norwich accompanying each monthly photograph.

The verse for April is "... let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an everlasting stream" (Amos 5.24).

The associated scene is "The River Thurne, Norfolk Broads." It shows a stretch of river gently curving to the left with two white windmills in the distance. There are reeds to the left of the river and reeds and grasses to the right. In the foreground is a tidy little cabin yacht with a white sail and this boat looks suspiciously familiar! I have consulted illustrations in CC and to a landlubber such as myself the sail and rigging are exactly right. It is undoubtedly the Teasel - or at least a very close relation.

Any comment from someone rather closer to the area?
