Yeah, but seriously Andy, how many people down in the Midlands will have the time and money to go up to Coniston two weekends running? It's an opportunity lost, surely? I admit some personal bias - I was in MR for 10 years, and am now in NR (just). I'd like to meet the NR members, and it would be nice to see old friends from MR as well. I just cannot see the sense in having separate expeditions. It seems to go against what TARS stands for - or am I talking cobblers?
