Dick's character, especially as it is developed in P&M, seems to me to
be that of a true renaissance man. I question whether he would have
been able to narrow his interests enough to specialize in one field, but
if he had, it would have been zoology or geology.
Come to think of it though, a geologist, or Areologist rather, would
have a first-class ticket for a Mars flight, wouldn't he?
