What colour was "Swallow"?

I have spent the past 41 years under the impression that whereas AMAZON is varnished (SA p84), as is the new SCARAB, of course, in PM, SWALLOW is painted white, externally at least. There is a reference to her paint being scratched in SD after the wreck. But the video shows both SWALLOW and AMAZON as varnished.

Have I been wrong for all these years?
