not declaring, which implies intention but perhaps sending out a sign, as a sweaty brow can be a sign of exertion or even performing, as in bringing into effect.
Talking AR is a bit like Fremasonry in as much it involves a secret or submerged language ( remember "feeling Rogerish"?) but unlike the Freemasons anyone unwise enough to show an interest is likely to be dragged into then tent and bored to death. Doesn't seem much of a crime to me though.
