You may want to tell your grandson that Titty was the actual nickname given to Mavis Altounyan, one of the originals for Titty.
She was called that because of this rather dire story TITTY MOUSE AND TATTY MOUSE which can be found at the weblink below.
I just bit the bullet and used Titty with my daughters and son. I know someone who changed the name to Tammy at his wife's insistence but when his seven year old started reading his problems were twice as bad. Why did you change the name? What is wrong with Titty anyway?
