And to add a little to Dave's comments, Tom's credentials are very high. He's an ex-Devonian who came here many years back to work in a famous Melbourne yard (Pompey's of Mordialloc) before being grabbed as Master of Boats for Melbourne's oldest and best private boy's school, Scotch College. Since his retirement from Scotch about two years ago, Tom has concentrated on codifying many of his designs for home-building. He also provides part-time tuition for the world-famous Shipwrights Point School of Wooden Boat Building in south-west Tasmania.
Needless to say, Tom's a member of the Wooden Boat Fittings' Board of Advisors,,,,,
