We are very fortunate here in Melbourne, in that we have a dedicated old-fashioned wooden boat builder, Tom Whitfield. Tom also designs boats, preferably of the heavy, stable, "Swallow" and "Amazon" type. He has a number of suitable designs to build to, one of the really good ones being his "Sea-Days Skiff".
