Thank you gentlemen - we did find it after some more research, and I did buy In the Footsteps. Interesting display although I felt that there was very little new that hadn't already been in the various books by Roger Wardale. Still, it was brilliant to be in Ransome's own country, and I realised his real skills in putting across the sense of the lakes and the life there - even sixty odd years ago.
