I quite agree. I was disappointed with several of the actors in CC and BS. However, found the films extremely enjoyable.
I also agree about Captain Flint. I have heard people say before that he was not cast well. However, the film version of him was just as I had imagined the real Captain Flint - at least when I was 10 years old and first saw the film.
Pitty they stopped with S&A, CC and BS. I would love to see a film version of all the books really but especially Swallowdale and Winter Holiday.
