Ah, well, there we do share some similarities. I had a couple of uncles, but neither came within a bull's roar of being considered as a possible Captain Flint.
Funnily enough, though, I had a psuedo-uncle (known firstly as "Uncle Fred" but latterly simply as "Unk,") who not only behaved like a near-perfect Captain Flint, but also looked like him -- bald, sunburned pate and all. (And, I might say, a very important influence in my formative years, too.)
