We live quite near Pin Mill and Walton Backwaters, and not that far from the Broads. These places are still like the books - Secret Water espescially so. I never got to the Lakes (still have'nt) but was thinking of taking the family on a sort of S&A tour, which I'm sure many have done. Maybe not, if the result is likely to be disappointment?
We'll just walk down to Robertson's boatyard and admire the "Goblin"!
