The first American Edition (J.B.Lippincott, 1935) had two maps, not as end-papers, but as inserts in the book. The first (Norfolk Broads, Northern Rivers) was inserted before chapter one, and the second (Norfolk Broads, Southern Rivers) was inserted before chapter sixteen. Both maps were drawn by Helene Carter, who illustrated, in whole or in part, the first five books of the series for Lippincott.
