It is not a Hardy Boys story, but a couple of the characters are called the Hardy Boys because of their similarities. Sort of like your kids calling themselves the Amazons.
If you think the evil CEO heading both a Drug company and a tobacco company seems a bit far fetched, in Canada there is a chain of drug stores owned by a large tobacco conglomerate? They were most upset when the government banned drugstores from selling cigarettes.
