Jon,

Some of our mountains are so pointy that it is impossible to land a
helicopter on them, or even fly over them. There are many Sherpas in
and around Vancouver. Most of them attend the local Sherpa College of
Mountaineering. The College provides the necessary eqipment: ice axes,
crampons, tents and oxygen without which no respectable Sherpa would set
foot on some of our mountains.
