One I can attribute to Winston is this: If you're going through hell, keep going!'
It is something I've frequently thought, but until recently didn't have the words for and Winston encapsulated it beautifully.
By the way, might you be able to translate the one from Voltaire in French. Under down under, French is not a common language(apart from restaurants and ballet/music schools).
