Is it possible that this is an Amazon ironic in-joke? No doubt the 'Bay where they had Tea' is true, but is it a pun on 'Tebay', a small town in Cumbria (formerly in Westmorland, I think). I know Tebay quite well - it is (or was) a railway town, and I can't imagine anyone wanting to have tea there in the 1920s except rail enthusiasts (it's on the West Coast main line).
