Alas work & domesticity prevent me from replying to my critics immediately but I will say this. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, quacks like a duck & associates with other ducks I call it a duck & anyone who provides the Foreign Office with a list of 250 "old regime" officers serving in the Red Army and strategic information on Soviet Railways in 1920 is about as close to a spy as you'll get, whatever their motives.
