Brad, the 70's version of The Railway Children with Jenny Agutter as the oldest daughter has been shown several times on, I seem to remember, TV1. Interestingly enough, the newest version of this film came out last year and Jenny Agutter was in it again, this time as the mother.
However I only ever remember seeing Swallows & Amazons here sometime in the sixties - a series I believe.
