Yep, I see it, I have even have a visualisation of it. Picture two clocks, side by side, (need to be good old fashioned round faced analogue types) imagine one is spinning at 2 1/2 times the other's speed, it will "overtake" the other clock twice and consequently show the same time twice. If one of the clocks is showing the correct time, bingo synchronicity.
