On the day that my copy of AR's Bohemia in London arrives so also did my catalogue from Hatchards with a review of:
"Among the Bohemians: Experiments in Living 1900 - 1939"
by Virginia Nicholson.
The review by Hatchards reads as follows:
"The first half of the twentieth century saw the emergence of the Bohemians. Numbering Augustus John, Arthur Ransome and Dylan Thomas amongst their ranks, they broke away from their stuffy Victorian surroundings, rejecting and questioning all the old rules. They explored homosexuality and free love. They painted and danced and didn't care what people thought. Theirs is a fascinating story"

Interesting!!
