Referring to 'duh',
a. I have a late teens son who watches the Simpsons avidly(I take no responsibility for what he accessed from our familial gene pool), and b. Dave hit it on the head. When Dan revealed the name of his boat I had a 'moment' hence 'duh!'
It's pronounced as a grunt with a 'd' in front(at least in this household.)
