Robert - that dust cover is interesting.
While in the UK last year I picked up amongst others, a 1953 copy of S&A with that cover. I wonder just how many editions were made of that particular one? Inside it only says: First Published 1930, This Edition 1953.
Unfortunately the two first edition Winter Holiday and Secret Water don't have their dust jackets, which as a child, I thought was almost the best bit of the books.
I also have managed to find three of the first editions published by the Australasian Publishing Co by arrangement with Jonathan Cape.
