At least you colonials are equipped for it.

In 62/63 the snow that fell on our roof in England in December was still there, certainly well into March. A glorious and memorable winter. We had an open car, and we didn't have any central heating in those days - it took us a month to get the temperature in our bedsit up to freezing point!

I won't go into details about the only way to get warm.

The last truly WH style winter.
