In a recent posting I noted that a 1930 1st Edition Swallows and Amazons was up for auction in Norfolk - original dust wrapper with Spurrier map and coats of arms. The estimate was £1,200-1,500.

It made £6,800

I wonder who bought it? The sale was on 27 May. Now is that why John Nichols made a brief visit to the UK???
